Erä-Eero’s latest photography hides are located in Karhuniemi, a charming pond and fen area. The hides have plenty of legroom and spacious beds / sofa beds for sleeping. In the larger hide, you can sit at the table and eat snacks while taking photos. Camera openings point towards the beautiful fen pond. There are also other, smaller photography hides in the area.

The Karhuniemi hides are about a 500m walk from the parking lot. Part of the journey is walked along duckboards.

The animals can move right in front of the hides, but also on the opposite bank of the pond, so both telephoto and wide-angle lenses are suitable for photography. There’s open space around the pond so the area is well lit.

In Karhuniemi you can see and photograph wolverines, bears and wolves during the summer. In winter, the bears are sleeping, but birds such as golden eagles and white-tailed eagles may stop by in addition to wolverines and wolves.
